We’re proud to be one of Scotland’s longest-running caravan parks under the same family ownership.

Welcome

Welcome to our website!  Argyll Caravan Park is located on the shores of Loch Fyne, it’s a large site of around 50 acres which provides stunning views of the Loch and surrounding countryside. If you love the outdoors and nature this park is the place for you!

There are loads of walks that can be done in the park including a walk along the coast to the historic town of Inveraray or if you prefer something a bit more tranquil you could walk or cycle along the old military road to the village of Furnace. The park is rich in wildlife with Seals, Otters and Porpoises being seen swimming around the Loch with Gannets divebombing shoals of fish. If you are fortunate enough you may see a mighty white-tailed eagle soaring through the sky!

During World War two the caravan park was used as a base and training area for the allied powers. British, American and Commonwealth troops would prepare for the famous D-Day landings which helped to bring the war to an end. There are some small remnants of the old military base which can be seen on the park and surrounding area.

If you enjoy angling the park has a lot to offer. Holiday Home owners can store their boats within our boatyard and launch from our slipway. Mackerel and Sea trout can be caught from the shore and there is good fishing along the coastline between the park and Furnace. Loch Fyne is the longest Sea Loch in Scotland with loads of areas to explore making it ideal for boating.

If fishing and walking is not your thing you can go for a round of Golf at Inveraray’s own course or pony trekking which will take you through the Park and along some of the beautiful the surrounding area and on to Inveraray. The town has loads of shops, cafes and restaurants but we have our very own Skippers Bistro on the park which is a perfect place to stop for an evening meal after a long day of having fun.
