Coronavirus Safe Practices

Argyll Caravan Park is taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. We are aware that this is a worrying time for many of us, and with the situation regarding COVID-19 developing daily, we will be continually reviewing and updating our policy in line with the latest Government guidelines.

Coronavirus has meant we're changing how we do some things to help stop the virus spread and look out for the health of our guests and our team.

There's lots we've already put in place including enhanced cleaning, social distancing and PPE. We promise we'll do all we can to follow the latest and most relevant guidance and to keep you fully informed about what we're doing. We'll update this page when we have more information, so please check back regularly.

The Park is currently under level 0 restrictions. At this stage in the season we cannot reopen fully as we would in a 'normal' year. We hope to return to full facilities and minimal restrictions in 2022 subject to Scottish Government guidance at that time.

The following guidelines are not exhaustive, and will apply to your visit:

1. Please continue to (even though it is no longer law) maintain social distancing throughout your stay - this includes when interacting with other visitors and our staff.
2. Maintain the highest level of hand hygiene.
3. Avoid crowded areas.

If you have Coronavirus symptoms, please stay at home.

Health and Safety

The health and well-being of our staff and guests is always at the forefront of our minds.

We also understand that we have a responsibility to our local community to protect them from any risks associated with visitors to the area so plan to work closely with them and provide guidance to guests prior to arrival on how they can support this.

The following measures are being put in place for the safety of both staff and customers, which although will never fully remove the risk of catching COVID-19 offer some mitigation and peace of mind.

1. Automated pre-arrivals email with latest COVID-19 rules and etiquette for site.
2. Advanced payment for bookings so you don’t need to handle cash or card machines.
3. We are operating a contactless check-in system during COVID-19. Instructions on this will follow upon confirmation of your booking.
4. Check your emails on the morning of your arrival for directions to your pitch.
5. Hand sanitiser outside reception and the launderette.
6. All Tourers and Motorhomes must be booked in advance - no off road arrivals.

Please remember when returning to your caravan you should run all water outlets to minimise the risk of Legionella - especially shower heads which should be held away from the face to avoid inhaling spray, disconnect shower head and disinfect. If in doubt, please consult the HSE website -
